Brown County, Indiana
Greenbriar Lake is a 10-acre, man-made, private lakeside community in Brown County, Indiana, located just a few miles north-east of the town of Nashville. Created in the early 1960s, the entire Greenbriar Lake Community encompasses roughly 45 acres.
The Greenbriar Lake Owners Association (GLOA) is responsible for managing the maintenance of the dam, lake, shelter house, roads and other shared infrastructure of the community, and to handle capital development needs as they arise. All expenditures are funded by annual assessments required of all lake owners.
Any property owner in good standing (all assessments paid-in-full) is considered a Member of the Greenbriar Lake Owners Association, and is encouraged to attend and participate in our Spring and Fall meetings/potluck dinners, where community issues are discussed and member input solicited. Meetings occur at 3pm on the Sunday before Memorial Day weekend, and the Sunday before Labor Day weekend
